All rates are per column inch, and all ads must be placed within 30 days of first ad or period negotiated in signed contract. Repeat advertising features a discount of 10 percent on ads which run consecutive week(s) with no changes.

Color is $90 per color. Process color $175.

Non-profit rates are $5.95 per column inch.

Online ads may be placed on our Web site at an additional $1 per column inch.

Note: For persons new to advertising, “display” ads are those ads in the newspaper with a box around them, and a “column inch” is actually a box that is 1.75 inches wide by one inch tall.

Classified line advertising

Rates: $5.95 for the first 20 words. Additional words are 15 cents per word. Free ads are limited to items offered free or to lost/found pets with no rewards. Ads are payable in advance, unless prior arrangements for billing are made. No bills are invoiced for less than $20. We accept cash, checks, and money orders, but are not able to accept credit or debit cards.

Preprinted insert rates

Rates are 3.8 cents each for 1-2 page inserts;
4.0 cents each for 3-6 pages;
4.8 cents for 7-up.
